AEON Corporate Structure

AEON Holdings Corporation of Japan is the holding company of all subsidiaries in the AEON Group. The corporate headquarters is located in Tokyo. In January, 2018, AEON Holdings Corporation of Japan became a member of the KDDI Group, one of the major communications companies in Japan.

AEON Higashi Nihon Head Office is the regional headquarters for the educational and business operations in the northern and eastern sections of the country. AEON Higashi Nihon Head Office is located in Tokyo.

AEON Shutoken Head Office is the regional headquarters for the educational and business operations in the greater Tokyo area. AEON Shutoken Head Office is located in Tokyo.

AEON Chubu Head Office is the regional headquarters for the educational and business operations in the central area of the country. AEON Chubu Head Office is located in Nagoya.

AEON Kansai Head Office is the regional headquarters for the educational and business operations in the south central area of the country. AEON Kansai Head Office is located in Osaka.

AEON Nishi Nihon Head Office is the regional headquarters for the educational and business operations in the western section of the country, which includes the Seibu and Kyushu regions. AEON Nishi Nihon Head Office is located in Okayama.

AEON Institute of Language Education, Inc. (AIOLE) is the research and development division of the company responsible for the curriculum, teaching methods and pedagogy, educational materials and textbook production for AEON schools. AIOLE’s headquarters is located in Tokyo.

AEON Intercultural USA

AEON Intercultural USA is responsible for the international recruitment, hiring, and processing of AEON Corporation’s foreign teaching staff in Japan. The recruiting office is located in Grapevine, Texas.  AEON’s recruiters travel throughout the US and other countries to interview and hire new AEON teachers.

Amity Corporation

Amity Corporation is responsible for the educational and business operations, development of curriculum, teaching methods and pedagogy, educational materials and textbook production for the exclusive network of Amity Children’s Schools throughout Japan. Amity’s headquarters is located in Okayama. Amity recruits English-speaking teachers from one office in North America located in Los Angeles.

MPI Matsuka Phonics Institute

MPI develops and publishes English learning materials for children using the Phonics learning method.

Ryugaku Journal, Inc.

Ryugaku Journal, Inc. is our travel and study abroad agency responsible for organizing and coordinating all overseas educational opportunities, including cultural exchange, home stay, and study abroad programs. Ryugaku Journal publishes the well-known reference periodical of the same name for anyone wishing to study abroad. Ryugaku Journal’s headquarters is located in Tokyo.

HAO Chinese Academy

HAO Chinese Academy operates a nationwide chain of schools that specialize in teaching Chinese conversation lessons. HAO also oversees the development of their textbooks and online lessons.

Intercultural Institute of Japan

The Intercultural Institute of Japan operates intensive Japanese language immersion programs both in Japan and in 12 different countries worldwide.
